Speaking at a session of the Council for National Projects in Moscow on Thursday, President Dmitry Medvedev voiced hope that a state budget for 2011-2013 will contribute to the development of national projects in the next couple of years.
He pointed out that introducing innovations into national projects is an uphill task, which should be resolved by specialists on a high-tech basis.
“High technologies are something that adds significantly to the country’s socio-economic development and the improvement of people’s living standards”, Medvedev maintained.
On Thursday, the Council grappled with national projects pertaining to the development of Russia’s health care, education, housing and farming.
