Russia to shore up Kyrgyzstan

The Russian government will allocate 10 million dollars to contribute to Kyrgyzstan’s economic overhaul, the Deputy Economic Development Minister told reporters on Thursday.
Alexei Likhachev explained that earlier, Russia injected 20 million dollars into the Kyrgyz economy, with Bishkek, in turn, urging Moscow to additionally grant a 50-million-dollar non-repayable loan.
